S-Cube Tutorials: Your Career Generating Function
The Actuarial Common Entrance Test or ACET is currently
conducted in 48 cities and 51 centers across India. It is conducted by the
Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI). The examination is for those candidates
wishing to enroll as student members of the IAI and wish to take actuarial
examinations from the institute, located in Mumbai. Members who have already
been admitted to the IAI need not take this entrance examination, and may
instead continue to take their actuarial examinations as earlier. The test is
computer based and takes place over a period of two hours.
S-Cube provides ACETcoaching in Kolkata, using innovative methods at low costs. It utilizes a
Delhi-based approach towards clearing actuarial examinations. The coaching
organization prides itself on understanding the special and varied needs of
different students, and meeting those specific needs. S-Cube employs
experienced staff members who specialize in their respective subjects and
conduct comprehensive courses on the same. Alongside the extensive classroom
training, S-Cube conducts regular tests in order to improve the students’
understanding and test their preparation. Students may also avail of one on one
counseling sessions with trained career counselors.
The ACET tutorial inKolkata also performs a third function, other than actuarial tuitions and
career counseling. S-Cube also provides actuarial placements, bridging the gap
between actuarial students and prospective employers. Actuaries are employed in
a wide number of fields, including life insurance, general insurance, pensions
and employee benefits, health insurance, reinsurance, investment, consultancies
and risk management. S-Cube not only prepares students with regular
assignments, tests and doubt sessions, but also has a placement cell entirely
dedicated to actuarial science. It is associated with India’s first recruitment
firm operating exclusively within the field of actuarial and analytics hiring,
with an extensive list of contacts.
